Brian comes to the Franklin Goins Insurance Agency after retiring from Kentucky State Government where he worked for all three branches of government during his 23+ years. His previous experience includes modernizing the Kentucky House and Senate bill process automating and making it paperless. He also worked for The Cabinet for Health and Family Services, the Commonwealth Office of Technology, The Finance Cabinet, and The Kentucky Communications Network Authority, and finished his state career at The Administration Office of the Courts.
Brian received his Property and Casualty License in 2016 and joined Franklin Goins Insurance shortly thereafter. Brian has two children – Lauren who is currently attending and swimming for Transylvania University. His son Grant attends Franklin County High School and plays Varsity Soccer.
In Brian’s free time, he enjoys the outdoors, classic automobiles, boating, creating and restoring old cars and dwellings. He is the founding President of the Bluegrass Region Porsche Club, A 20+ year member of The Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and volunteers regularly.
